Take-Anywhere Banner Stands: How to!

For several years now I have been faced with the problem of wanting to hang a birthday banner up at my daughters birthday party...held outside...with no trees, no posts, no nothing to hang them from. I said to myself, "I wish I had some posts I could just take anywhere and hang my banners. That would just make me so happy!"
Determined to solve my problem, this is what I came up with.... I cemented some wooden dowels into some buckets. They work like a charm! They aren't too heavy to transport, but heavy enough to withstand holding up several banners! Woohoo, yipee, hooray....I can go on and on!
 Get two buckets.....mix the cement in side with a paint stick. It takes a little bit of work!
{These pictured ended up being too small...so I had to cement them into another bucket! which is why you see a white one in the picture. The white one is too big... I couldn't find a medium sized bucket. I would recommend grabbing a medium sized bucket if you can. But just make sure it's not too small so that it is sturdy enough to hold your banners if it is windy or anything.}
 Stick a wooden dowel in each! Now for the tricky part... Prop them up somewhere. You have to make sure that they are perfectly straight! You might have to get a little creative. If you look closely at the picture you will see that one dowel is being held by the broom rack and the other bmy clothing rack in my garage.
 Give them 24 hrs. to dry and they should be all set to go!
