It's spring cleaning time and I've been trying to dejunk and organize our house. After cleaning out my pantry the other day I found 4 boxes of candy canes. Instead of throwing them away I decided to think of some way to put them to good use.
I had this idea to make them into lollipops but wasn't sure if it would work. Well you can see by the pictures that it did!
My kids seriously thought I was the coolest! And they fully enjoyed their new treat!
What you'll need:
candy canes
skewers or small lollipop sticks
cookie sheet
parchment paper
A couple of tips before you begin:
1. Keep an eye on it because you don't want it to melt too much. You simply want it to be pliable.
2. Only do one candy cane at a time because they cool down quickly.
3. You can use 1 candy cane to make a smaller lollipop, or use 2-3 to make bigger lollipop.
4. If you have broken pieces, use them! They will stick together.

How to:
Pre-heat oven to 275 degrees. Place a piece of parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
Place 1 candy cane on the cookie sheet and place in oven for 3-5 minutes. Take out and slowly bend starting at the top that is already arched. Bend until it creates a spiral and the entire candy cane is wrapped around. While it is still hot, poke a skewer in at the bottom up to the center of the lollipop. Then find a cute little someone to enjoy this yummy treat!

Isn't this so much more fun than just throwing those candy canes away?!!
Hey. I want to ask something…is the following a wordpress weblog as we are thinking about transferring across to WP. Also did you make this template by yourself? Appreciate it. https://royalcbd.com/product/cbd-oil-500mg/
